Moving from AWS back to GitHub pages
AWS is a great host for static websites using S3, but it lacks the flow and ease of use that I’m used to with GitHub. Because of this, I’ve moved over from AWS + EC2 + Ghost to GitHub Pages and Hugo. It’s written in Go, one of my favourite languages, and it seems to be extremely expandable.
The fact I can push a website update with
git push is lovely. No CI/CD to deal with.
